Compost Dried Flowers!

A compost heap it’s as simple as piling up dried flowers,  grass clippings, and shredded newspaper.

Pull off the flowers and greenery from the dried arrangement & add to the heap.

Moisten the compost heap with water to began the decomposition process. (If starting composting inside, be sure to keep covered.  Ideally, outdoors is preferred due to smells & possible flying insects.)

Add kitchen refuse such as vegetable and fruit peelings.  Continue adding to compost heap for a few more weeks, then add to garden soil, around trees, & or flower beds for fertilizing.
